Why do I need it and what does it do?
The overall objective of the AMS Export App is to allow you to automatically integrate captured meta data, document tags or documents from DocuWare to be absorbed by other applications, such as SAP, Sage, and Opera.
The AMS Export App has been created by our team of in-house developers to offer more flexibility and control when exporting data and documents from your DocuWare system..
DocuWare has some ability for exporting your meta data but doesn’t quite offer the detail or format that some customers need. Therefore, the AMS Export app has been developed upon customer requirements over many years to help cater for those requirements.
Export Features
- Supports an unlimited number of different export profiles
- The export can be scheduled for a date and time that suits or you can run it manually when needed
- Simple profile creation and editing using a step through wizard
- Email notifications for exceptions
- Export audits and history
- Updates the DocuWare indexes (meta data or document tags) after export completion
CSV and Excel Export
- Export document indexes to CSV or XLSX
- Control the filename and folder path of the export using index field values
- Multiple CSV/XLSX creation options including a new CSV/XLSX per record, appending to an existing file or overwriting
- Include and re-order column headers
- Change column headers to match field values with the application you are integrating with
- Determine order and inclusion of required indexes for CSV/XLSX
- Supports table/line-item data from DocuWare
File Export
- Export documents to folders
- Control the filename and folder path of the export by using index field values.
- Export Documents in PDF, JPG, TIFF, NATIVE
XML Export
- Export document indexes to XML
- Multiple XML creation options including creating a new XML per record or group multiple documents into one single XML file
- Create your own XML structure
- Change XML tags to match field values with the application you are integrating with
- Control the filename and folder path of the export using index field values
- Supports table/line-item data from DocuWare
Email Export
- Exports DocuWare documents as batch attachments in email
- Control the email subject and email body content
- Supports the inclusion of DocuWare index fields to automatically create dynamic content
- Compress multiple attachments into a single zip file
